Our Projects
Throughout the year we carry-out mainly four projects on vivid issues for a cause like Kharicha Vatta, Project Lantern, Organ Donation, Jagar Sanvidhanacha & other ongoing projects.
Aabha believe Social Responsibility is not catering of interest of society ‘once or twice’. It is important for us to continously engage in social issues is they want to survive in the long-run. The economic and social issues, in fact, go hand-in-hand

KHARICHA VATTA
Kharicha Vata is a project of Aabha, which means a little help to the indigent students of rural area. In this project we provide educational equipment such as notebooks, writing material, geometric kit and other stationery items. With this, we are also guiding them on different topics to enhance their knowledge and abilities to learn different aspects of life which will help them to improve their social behavior through our lecture series. We have reached more than 3000+ students of schools from Raigad Mahad, Ratnagiri and Valwa districts across maharashtra

PROJECT LANTERN
Project Lantern is the next level in the step in the social movement. As per the name suggests it’s all about spreading light in the lives of blind and physical disabled people. While working in social movement Aabha noticed that blind and physical disabled students doesn’t get the writer to write their exams paper as per the schedule and not enough resources are available for study material in braille form. So at the starting stage of the project we had decided to provide writers and readers for blind and physical disable students. As the work progresses definitely Aabha will add new ideas for these students.

ORGAN DONATION
Public awareness regarding organ donation is very low in India. Many superstitions that are prevalent even now create a negative attitude towards organ donations. So hence Aabha is taking the initiative to overcome this issue through our organ donation campaign. For this, we are getting valuable guidance from Rotto & Sotto organisation and doctors of the KEM hospital. We organise an organ donation campaign twice a year and throughout the year we create awareness among society. We have already registered more than 250 organ donor in Rotto & Sotto with the help of our volunteers.

JAGAR SANVIDHANACHA
This project is all about creating awareness of our “Indian Constitution”. “JAGAR” means “Awareness”. Aabha conducts awarness among students from both Urban and Rural areas as well as commmon public to be aware of the strength of our constitution with lecture series physically as well as on online. Under this project, we have organised different types of state-level Inter school competitions for students such as “Essay competition, Speech Competition etc. on different topics explained in our Constitution. We are running this project since 2015 and almost 5000+ students have participated in the same till date and more than 10000+ people are connected on all platforms.
